There are many rare patients in Hong Kong who need more care and support from the community. IN140 will soon hold a large-scale service for patients with "tuberous sclerosis complex" and their families.

"Tuberous sclerosis complex" is a genetic mutation disease in which patients are affected by genetic variation, and cells in the body are not controlled to proliferate, so that organs such as brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, eye, nail and skin all have the chance to have a tumor. These tumors are mostly benign, but the increasing tumor volume will impair organ function. Before the formation of tumors, nearly 90% of patients had nodules in the brain before one year old, leading to epilepsy, mental retardation, affecting learning, autism, and emotional problems. And the cost of medicine is expensive.

It is hoped that this application will create a world record resounding through the event to arouse the public's care and support for a few rare diseases. In addition to raising funds to help clients and their families, it also promotes awareness and attention to a few rare diseases and speaks for them. This will infect more people to provide more support and money for the client and their families. Practice the concept of life affecting life.
