Second hit 9•23 Sending Love to Tai O
On Saturday, nearly 500 volunteers brought love and care to nearly 4,000 households at 10 service points in Hong Kong. On September 23, we continued this love and sent love to Tai O.
Tai O, a small island far from the hustle and bustle; a small island that retains the old-fashioned flavor of Hong Kong in the prosperous Hong Kong.
Tai O, a small island that suffers from serious flooding whenever a typhoon arrives. One of the hardest hit areas where mangosteen hit Hong Kong, severe flooding caused many shacks to be damaged, trees to crush houses, and residents needed to evacuate.
When the typhoon left, the residents helped each other to clean up. Let us send love together to Tai O, and send care to the residents of the island to feel the warm reunion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
