On June 30, 2018, IN133 joined nearly 60 volunteers from Hong Kong through more than 4 hours drive to Longchuan County, Longyuan Town, Heyuan Town, Heyuan, Guangdong Province, bringing warmth to nearly 160 poor families, widowed elderly and children in the village. . As stated by IN133, because the subjects are remote, we should pay more as leaders and let them be seen and get more attention and support.
On the day of service, IN133 gathered in Sheung Shui at about 7 am, and distributed materials to assist in transportation, including children's toys, stationery, living materials, cooking oil, rice, cotton quilts, etc., everyone sweated and still united and put a lot of supplies. Get ready to bring to Heyuan.
After more than four hours of driving, they finally arrived in Longchuan County. IN133 and volunteers were divided into different groups to visit. One group went to school. Although the children were a little shy, they showed very much looking eyes. After different singing and games, everyone became familiar with each other. When they received stationery and gifts, they were even more excited and happy!
In addition, volunteers are responsible for home visits, going to the target homes personally, experiencing their lives and feeling their daily routine. Among them are poor students, widowed elderly people, especially destitute families, etc., through conversations to create connections and care.
IN133, in addition to this event, sent care to the villagers in Longchuan County, and wanted to encourage the future IN to play bigger games together, broaden their horizons and send love to more places!
