Our annual event – Blessing Event is held today!

Today, nearly 500 volunteers went to 10 districts in Hong Kong to distribute blessing bags for 2,600 elderlies with joy and love.

INs went together with their family and friends to visit and hold activities for the elders in the community center. They listened patiently to the daily life of the elders and prepared games and performances for them, so that everyone could mingle in laughter. The guest artist Mr. Pierre Ngo also went to Tuen Mun to conduct a home visit with us and share healthy eating with the elders. Everyone who saw him was very happy.

In addition, Mr. Eric Chau, Chairman of Invision Charity Foundation, the directors - Dr. Chris Lam and Mr. Tinly Wong, Foundation Development Manager – Ms. Iris Lau and Chief Executive of IN Volunteer Group - Mr. Sunny Fok attended the event together.

Mr. Eric Chau, Chairman of Invision Charity Foundation, shared at the event that this year is the eighth year of our blessing activity at Mid-Autumn Festival, which is promoted from "Mooncake Event" to "Blessing Event" because we received the opinions of the volunteers and the elderlies, we would like to get closer to the needs of the elderly. Therefore, we do not only distribute mooncakes, but also include more food and supplies that are close to their needs. At the same time, thanks to the support of different donors to make the blessing bags full, and thanks to every volunteers for the preparation for today's activities and to let the elders feel the love.

The Angel Volunteer Team also participated together. Even if they were in a wheelchair or inconvenient, they still told others by their action that everyone has the ability to pay for the people around them.
