Announcement on the weather arrangements for the Mooncake Event 2018

We have been paying close attention to the weather forecast of the Observatory.
Making a lot of contact with different service institutions and volunteers,
Based on the forecast by the Observatory that the weather is generally sunny on Saturday that the weather has not been affected by the typhoon.
Moreover, if the date is changed, there will be many organizations failing to cooperate, affecting many service targets.

After discussed with majority parties, based on safety considerations and balances in various aspects, the arrangement would be as follows:

- If hoisting Storm Signal No. 1, amber rainstorm signal, or no weather warning signal, the event will be held as usual on September 15.
- If the Observatory announces that it will hang or still hoisting Storm Signal No. 3 or above, red rainstorm signal or black rain storm signal 2 hours before the event starts, the event will be cancelled and will be postponed to 22 Sep 2018.
