Fifty-one children and adolescents with physical and mental disabilities from grassroots families in Hong Kong experienced the first trip abroad. Under the arrangement of the organizer Hong Kong "IN Volunteer Group", the children came to Taiwan for a three-day and two-night trip, visited the Tsou Ma Lai Farm in Tainan, Wanpi World Safari Zoo, and visited the Garden Night Market to taste Tainan snacks. The children participating in the event said that they never thought they could fly abroad by plane, they could finish their dreams, and they were very happy.
The IN Volunteer Group is affiliated with Invision Charity Foundation Limited. The director of the Foundation, Mr. Tinly Wong, said that children with disabilities in grassroots families have few opportunities to go out with their families. "Fly for Love" is a plan to help families with mental and physical disabilities fulfilling their flying dreams. Painting, this year is the sixth year, I hope to help these children realize their dream of flying.
In addition to the participation of 51 disabled children in Hong Kong, together with parents, medical teams, volunteers, etc., there are more than 200 people, and the lineup is huge. After arriving in Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport on a day, the group first visited Changjin to enjoy the beauty of the setting sun and then drove to Tainan.
The Director of the IN Volunteer Group, Mr. Sunny Fok, said that before the departure, Hong Kong children expressed their desire to visit the Taiwan Night Market. They specially arranged to visit the Garden Night Market. Everyone was very excited when they arrived at the night market. They praised the Taiwanese snacks with many styles and features. The group also went to Wanpi World Safari Zoo, the first time to get close to the animals, and visit Tsou Ma Lai Farm, Chimei Museum and so on.
Sunny said that he is very grateful to the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Communications, China Airline, Tainan City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau, Wanpi World Safari Zoo, Tsou Ma Lai Farm, Hotel Cozzi, Taipung Suites and other units to support this flight to make Hong Kong families feel the warmth and enthusiasm of Taiwanese.
Sunny said that "Fly for Love" is not just a three-day and two-night event. They also let these families with similar backgrounds know each other and build a support network so that parents can continue to support each other in the future.
