More than 30 families of tuberous sclerosis and rare disease patients, firstly try the farm experience

    On 28 January 2018, together with nearly 100 volunteers and more than 30 families of tuberous sclerosis and rare disease patients went to Tai Kong Po Farm to have a happy day.

    This time, IN128 through letting the patients have a happy day at farm to let them feel love and support, give them strength, encourage them to go on the road of life in the future with more determination and brave, and to realize their dreams!

    IN128 is very dedicated to prepare the event. In addition to serving a group of patients with tuberous sclerosis and rare diseases, the organizers also invited their families to join together and arranged medical teams and volunteers to accompany and support.

    IN128 hopes that more people will pay attention to this rare genetic disease - tuberous sclerosis (TSC) through this activity. The cells in the patient will grow uncontrollably, leading to a large number of tumors in important organs, affecting organ function, and brain tumors will hinder the intellectual development and lead to emotional problems, tumors will also appear on other internal organs and continue to proliferate. It does not only affect the function of the organ, and even rupture and bleeding. If not properly treated, tumor growth is not controlled, it will threaten the lives of patients.

    They said that a patient had died last year because she did not get proper medical treatment, and the daughter of the patient also suffered from tuberous sclerosis. The proper treatment is indeed urgent.

    This event got many artists' attention and voice support, including: Vincent Wong, Jason Chan, Vinci Wong, Griselda Yeung, Raymond Cho, etc. On the day, the ambassador of the association, Mr. Eddie Pang, and a group of artist singers including Mr. Coby Tom, Miss Priscilla Pak, Ms. Edith Au and Ms. Baby Bo were invited to participate in the event together. The stars also led the audience to carry out the "Blasting Action". Each person raised a balloon and nearly 200 people blasted the balloon together, symbolizing the elimination of tumors in the body. Wish everyone is in good health.

    The event was very successful, and it took only two weeks to raise 210,000. It lets more people know about the problems the patient of tuberous sclerosis and family members facing, and sent them love and care. They are grateful for the generous donations and sponsorships of all walks of life. At the same time, when they see the joy and smile of a group of sick patients and the disadvantaged groups, they all think that all efforts are worthwhile.
